A breast prosthesis, or breast form, is worn in a bra pocket or against the skin to restore shape and balance. Full forms, partial forms and shapers, and lightweight options all fit differently, and the right one is the one that sits comfortably and looks the way you want it to under the clothes you actually wear.

Mastectomy and post-surgical bras are made with pockets that hold a breast form securely, softer seams, and front closures for when reaching behind you is difficult. We also fit everyday bras for people who are simply hard to fit — long or short torsos, wide or narrow roots, or a band and cup combination ordinary shops do not stock.

Sizing is done by measurement, not by the label in the bra you arrived in. Most people find their measured size is not the size they have been buying.

We bring several options into the fitting room, check the band, the cup and the strap position on you rather than on a chart, and keep going until it sits properly. Nothing is rushed, and nothing has to be decided that day.

Surgery is easier to prepare for when you already know what you will need afterwards and where to get it. A pre-operative appointment is really just a conversation: what the recovery garments do, what people tend to find comfortable early on, and what is worth having ready at home.

Afterwards, we fit what suits where you are — usually starting with soft, front-fastening garments and moving on when you are ready to.

When you can be fitted after surgery is a question for your surgeon or care team, not for us. Tell us what they have advised and we will work within it. If you are not sure what to ask them, call us and we will help you work that out.

Post-surgical camisoles are soft, usually front-fastening, and made with pockets that hold a lightweight form and, where it is needed, somewhere to secure drains. They are designed to be easy to get into and out of at a point when reaching and lifting are hard.

We fit other specialty postoperative garments too — soft bras without underwire, wraps, and options that are easier to sleep in.

The fitting is gentle, and as short as you want it to be. You are welcome to bring someone with you. If getting to us is difficult right now, call first and we can talk through sizing and options before you make the trip.

Wigs across a range of lengths, colors and cap constructions, alongside softer everyday options: sleep caps, turbans, scarves, and hats with the coverage already built in. Most people end up with a combination rather than a single answer.

Swimwear with pockets built in to hold a breast form securely, so you can swim without adjusting anything. We stock it year-round rather than seasonally, because a pool does not close in November.

Styles run from full-coverage one-pieces to tankinis and separates, including higher necklines and more underarm coverage where that matters to you.

Bring the form you usually wear, or be fitted for a lightweight swim form at the same appointment — many people prefer to keep a separate one for the water.
