Our Story

More than fifty years of careful fitting

Marzel's was established in 1974 and has fitted people across the East Bay ever since.

What we fit has grown over that time, from bras and breast forms to post-surgical garments, medical compression, lymphedema garments, wigs and headwear, and swimwear. The way we fit has not changed.

Today there are two locations, in Walnut Creek and Pleasanton. You are welcome at whichever is easier to reach.

  • Personal attention

    Every fitting is one-on-one. We start by listening to what you need, then work from measurements rather than the size on a label.

  • Privacy and discretion

    Privacy is part of how we work, not something you have to ask for. Bring someone with you or come on your own.

  • Clear product guidance

    We explain how the options differ so you can weigh them for yourself. The choice stays yours.

What to expect

What an appointment is actually like

  1. Before you come

    Contact the location you would rather visit and tell us what you are looking for. If a provider has given you a prescription or a compression level, bring it with you.

  2. When you arrive

    Explain what you have come in for in your own words. You do not need to know the terminology, and you are welcome to ask about anything.

  3. During the fitting

    We take measurements, show how the options differ, and go through the ones worth considering. You set the pace.

  4. Deciding

    Take the time you need. You can decline anything without explaining why, and nothing has to be decided that day.
